we were so young, fell too fast, hit bottom and never caught up with time. always one step behind. I can't forget you but I want to. I want to forget all we were, all we had, and all we lost.

not even seven months can erase you from my mind.. time passed and it didn't take as long as I thought. I lost myself in the passage. the slow steady ticks that never stop till we die. monotonous and numbing.

time never stands still, but it sure as hell slows when you enter the scene. we talk for hours and get back to the familiarity of times past. then you hit one out of the park and surprise me like you always used to.

hands went to their places like nothing had changed and we'd never been apart. lips met and it was harmony. you always fit.. I never understood it but you always did. like a puzzle, you just always fit.

a few seconds and I was right back where I'd been.. everything was the way it was supposed to be and we were together. I knew it would still feel like home to me.
