the space between worlds is growing larger..
the world in which we want to live is fading on the horizon..
and the reality of the world we do is too much to bear.

I can see your face now, in my minds eye..
I know I've failed you too many times.
I don't expect to be forgiven by you or by God....

it's been a year since the night you changed my life..
a year since time slowed and colors took new names
so long sweet summer..

the summer is coming again
this time we're so lost..
the world keeps turning and we're sick from the whiplash.

tell me how I can fix this..
we're going in different directions
I need you to take my hand

say that everything is alright..
please don't give up now.
we've fought this long

save me.
