I told you before, but the lesson didn't last,
Live in the present, not the past,
I've heard your reasons and your lies,
Excuses like assholes complete with flies,
Histories mistakes and yeasterdays error,
Need not add up to today terror.
Reach out with hands of love,
Insteaed of demanding with the whistles above,
There's no future with any war,
Making guns cough and missles soar,
Many will die, their blood will flow,
All for greed, these seeds you've sowed,
Open your eyes, and look to the future,
See the beauty you would destroy instead of nurture,
Look around you, see the dispare,
This is the world you would have us share,
Families homeless, countrys gone,
Everyone afraid of the nuclear spawn,
Where there were trees, now a wasteland,
The wind carring screams across hot sand,
This is the world you secure with your "might"
How about you love instead of fight?
Taking whats not yours, or what you don't need,
Earns not respect but sows the seed,
Of hate, resentment, envy and greed.
So make a better future, but don't use a gun,
Use instead laughter and fun.
