Hear the notes...
They clear my thoughts.

Feel them escape...
Through my fingertips.

Feel my heart lighten...
Feel my mood brighten...

With each melodic remedy.

Hear the notes ring...
Hear my emotions sing...

Not sad...
But joyous.

Not hateful...
But cheery.

I wish this side of me...

Was not so...

God-damned...

...elusive.

Because I enjoy a good mood
