As my foundations crack and crumble ever more
I see
I've no more hope
To lose
And it's too hard to rise from these ashes
While the rain still falls
The sun
Doesn't shine
Anymore
My once strong spirit
Now lies withered and weak
And my legs have nowhere to stand
The highs as few and brief as the flashing lightning
While the lows
Outnumber
The raindrops
And each success
Begets a dozen failures
I'm falling apart so slowly
Yet I can't fix Me fast enough
Cursing each sunrise
Dark days slowly pass
Helplessly wondering
How long I will last
