• Mon 28 Apr: added random backfire to chat bans. Also added some more restrictions to banning.
• Fri 31 Jan: Fixed some upload path issues so uploaded images will work correctly. Further separation of content and code in prep for Poetly merge.
• Tue 29 Jan: Major internal namespace changes. Please notify DarkPoet of any problems showing up by dpmail.
• Fri 25 Jan: Lots of cleanup and work toward genericization of cms.
• Tue 22 Jan: Changed work display so it preserves indentation. Also changed sketchpad to be more WYSIWYG
• Thu 3 Jan: Continuation of code cleanup for the new year, also added resizer for image member works and added Google checkout to the alternative payments page.
• Wed 2 Jan: Tons of code changes and little fixes. Also added an on the fly image resizer for profile pics, will probably also add one for graphic arts soon. Stopped at the profile editor for today however.
• Thu 27 Dec: Fixed a doubled list issue with the contest voting page. Fixed broken pages caused by php5 upgrade, thanks for the report Darun.
• Fri 7 Dec: Implemented 'who links to this work' bookmark reference as requested.
• Sun 9 Sep: Fixed random work to only show active members works, poem of the day (email) activated
• Fri 7 Sep: Added email this work feature
• Wed 29 Aug: Implemented About You! feature for member info expansion. Changed comment notifications to not notify if reply is to self
• Mon 20 Aug: Implemented a comment-reply-notification feature. I'm turning it on by default as I assume most members will want to know their comments have been replied to.
• Mon 13 Aug: Implemented WorkRank, an algorithm to calculate the importance of a user's work, see the faq for info. Fixed a problem with the rating system allowing ratings over 10 when fed by hand.
• Wed 1 Aug: Added a random poem/song to the chatterbox when idle, also fixed geolocation hopefully for new apps. Altered mail icon to return new mail notification from anywhere in the site. Template update time.
• Thu 26 Jul: Increased the lifetime of a login session to about 6 hours.
• Thu 19 Jul: Added an option whereby members can have the date they last logged in show up on their profile if they elect to check the option in their preferences.
• Tue 17 Jul: Made some improvements to the chatbox. I'll leave it up to you to figure out what exactly!
• Fri 6 Jul: Added a zip-download and a full-nuke feature to the member skins area. Some minor fixes of said area also.
• Sat 16 Jun: Added a forum icon, remembered to post changes to this thing for once, did some various functionality improvements like back/forward things.
• Tue 17 Oct: Improved the application form quite a bit, it was sure crappy. Did some other stuff between Aug and now but I forgot... maybe I'll update this when I diff with subversion. (if you know what that means, want a job? just kidding)
• Thu 3 Aug: Added full-block feature to works, you can ban a person now. Corrected the membership level that deleting comments is available to Basic or above. Removed the vote counts in the member voting area to avoid me-too behavior that seemed to be getting good apps voted down.
• Fri 28 Jul: Added buyable works user option, added more details to the overlimits error on the sketchpad to explain our reasoning for not permitting changes on overloaded accounts. Quietly implemented journal worktype, may extend it further sometime soon. Also did a few other little things like adding 'Vulgarity' to the genres and added a note on the skins page to reflect when the templates were last changed.
• Sun 23 Jul: Changed username change feature to work only once per month to reduce some confusion. Added work types filtering to the default profile template, working toward having a journal feature. Fixed a bug where having too many restrictions on a work overloaded the field and made no restrictions happen.
• Wed 29 Jun: Lots of billing bugs fixed, free rides to be corrected shortly. Lots of little text changes to reduce confusion.
• Sat 17 Jun: Fixed a problem where errors and warnings weren't showing up for a number of features preventing an accurate diagnosis of the problem.
• Wed 10 May: Finally got around to updating the bugs page. Features added recently include a block feature whereby you can prevent members from dpmailing you, and some other stuff I don't readily recall. Made a few spelling fixes and error message updates. Added a 'your average rating given to others' to teh member stats. Will resume updating this as I make tweaks.
• Mon 17 Oct: Fixed a few blank spots on the new sketchpad for convenience and anti-confusitive purposes.
• Wed 12 Oct: Added Atom feed for blogging sites to use, made sure works won't show up on the main page if they're members-only, mainly to cut down on the new visitor confusion factor.
• Thu 6 Oct: Added backup function for dpmails, disabled contest voting for trial members to reduce the chances for fraud. Added self promotion page and actually spell checked the site for once.
• Wed 5 Oct: Bunches of textual updates to the billing page and FAQ, added a final-f-you form on the delete my account section, added real name to account editor so people can cover up their former lies.
• Tue 20 Sep: Put in place the updated HTML 4.0 for XHTML transitional on the default profiles. Hopefully this will resolve some of the browser problems long term.
• Wed 7 Sep: Reworked login system to work correctly with default Internet Explorer installations. Did some other fixins including putting up the new XHTML compliant homepage and fixing some browser issues.
• Mon 15 Aug: Added some features to billing to give better tracking of payment information and more flexibility to members who are upgrading.
• Mon 8 Aug: Integrated the DP login with the forum login. Fixed problem with uploading music files and related javascript.
