Government

Despotism. All governmental control is in the hands of the feared ruler. Voting is however used to control immigration to free up the hands of the tyrant king and preserve the culture.

Population

As of Nov 2007 the census numbers participating citizens as around 1700. Immigration slightly exceeds the death rate.

Climate

Generally friendly and sincere, with favorable weather for those wishing to be a part of the society. Freak storms known to strike miscreants.

Geography

DarkPoetry exists on a small aluminum alloy ring with a ferrite coated surface rotating approximately 7200 times per minute. It is on the continent of Linux and in the planet of Dell SC1425 where it's always a little hotter than average due to the dual Xeonic winds.

Religion

The despot tyrant Matt is generally regarded as the God of the universe of DarkPoetry as he giveth and he taketh awayeth. Some forms of ancestor worship have been observed, as well as worshipping of heathen gods. DarkPoetry is an equal opportunity worshipper.

Tourism

As of a long time ago DarkPoetry saw about 2300 unique occupants each day including it's own residents, making for a surprising 70,000 impressions per day. This indicated a great interest on the part of the visitors and many return visitors. We have no current knowledge about tourism due to a volcanic eruption in or a spaceship collision depending on who you ask.
